Workshop objectives

The general objective of these Workshops is therefore to contribute to the development of the ceramics and geomaterials sector in Africa. Namely, they aim to:

• Bring together all the stakeholders in the field of traditional and technical ceramics, catalyze exchanges and develop scientific and technological collaboration;

• Enabling researchers, students, artisans and artists working in fields involving the valorization of local materials and secondary ceramic resources to acquire appropriate techniques for artisanal processing and valorization of the results.
