ST6 – Waste valorization, Recycling and Environmentally Friendly Materials
The volume of wastes produces has increased significantly worldwide as the consequences of the actual level of urbanization, the economy and population growth. This will continue be a serious preoccupation in the future. Waste recycling and valorization – a value-adding process for waste materials – has emerged as a sustainable and efficient strategy. The major objective of waste valorization is to transit to a circular economy and maximally alleviate hazardous impacts of wastes (i.e., food, agricultural, textile, plastics, electronics, etc.). Insights into improvement of waste valorization, technologies are needed to promote sustainable environmental, social, and economic performances. The primary expectations highlight the observable benefits of using recycling and sustainable materials and demonstrate how they can drastically lower emissions and environmental effects. Recycling and sustainable materials offer verifiable proof of the viability of removing dangerous exposures and promoting healthier indoor environments by utilizing environmentally friendly materials.
